Matthew Hudson-Smith secured his third 400m gold medal at the Euro Champs, while Emma Zapletalová dominated the 400m hurdles to claim the title.

Andy Díaz Hernández has set a new world-leading triple jump record at the European Championships in Birmingham, falling just 6 inches short of Jonathan Edwards' 31-year-old World Record.
